How do I change when my Rust server resets?

  • Using AleForge’s Blacksmith’s Portal
  • Self-Hosting/Other Providers

You can configure specifically when your Rust server will reset, letting you customize exactly how long you want your server’s map to last. Here’s how to change it.

Note that these times operate in the UTC time zone. If you need to convert a specific time zone into UTC, you can do so with a free web app called Dateful

  1. Open the Blacksmith’s Portal
  2. Go to Startup
  3. Locate Wipe Day Info
  4. Set it to a number between 0-6, with 0 being Sunday, and 6 being Saturday
  5. Locate Wipe Hour Info
  6. Set it to a number between 0-23
  7. Restart your server
  1. Locate where your server is installed
  2. Find the startup script and open it and edit it
  3. Add +wipeDayofWeek "<0-6>" to the end of the command
  4. Within the quotation marks, enter a number between 0-6, with 0 being Sunday, and 6 being Saturday
  5. Now add +wipeHourofDay "0-23" to the end of the command
  6. Within the quotation marks, enter a number between 0-23
  7. Save the file
  8. Restart your server
